Cyber SMSF was born out of a need to provide solutions that ensured business and individuals could get the most out of their self-managed super funds.

Cyber SMSF is led by founder and Director, Rob McAskill. Rob began his career in a family accounting firm in 2006 and found he had a hunger to help find better solutions for his clientele. This led to his specialisation in self-managed super funds.

In 2013, Rob began managing a specialist team of accountants working closely with SMSF clients. This opportunity allowed Rob to build relationships and offer expertise advice and support to the clients within this space. With a consistent goal to search for better strategies to guide and assist his clients, Rob delved deeper into the self-managed super fund industry.

Rob began Cyber SMSF on the Gold Coast in 2017 and began undertaking self-managed super fund health checks for firms. Since conception, Rob has built a strong rapport with service providers, auditors and actuaries and uses his specialist knowledge, skills and relationships to deliver for his clients.

Having a solutions focussed mission, Rob is dedicated to assisting accountants and advisors in getting the best outcomes for their clients and ensuring independent operators have agency over their self-managed super funds.
