Recognising the need for efficient accounting administration, Rob established Cyber SMSF to create solutions for SMSF compliance and tax lodgement.

Rob began his career working for a family accounting business in 2006. The family business merged into a more prominent corporate firm where he was assigned to head up the company’s SMSF department. This role also saw him invited as a guest speaker at various professional development workshops, national industry conventions and annual conferences. During this time, Rob found his calling as an SMSF specialist.

He is known by his clients for being friendly, approachable, reliable and always professional. An attentive listener, Rob is passionate about sharing his industry knowledge and prefers to communicate with clients through face–to–face interactions and phone conversations. He is committed to supporting his business partnerships and their clients by creating and implementing best practice SMSF solutions.

A Bachelor of Commerce graduate, Rob is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). With his comprehensive experience in tax and SMSF legislation, he is also a member of the SMSF Association, Australia’s independent, professional body representing the SMSF sector. Supporting his commitment to give back to the community, Rob is also a Justice of the Peace. A devoted family man, Rob loves spending time enjoying camping and bush walking trips with his family.

Having a solutions focussed mission, Rob is dedicated to assisting accountants and advisors in getting the best outcomes for their clients and ensuring independent operators have agency over their self-managed super funds.

Ashleigh Braxton is a highly experienced Senior SMSF Accountant with over a decade of dedicated expertise in the SMSF industry. Her passion for accounting began during high school and led her to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce while gaining hands-on experience in a family-run accounting practice. Ashleigh further strengthened her expertise by completing an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and a Diploma in Financial Planning.

Ashleigh’s SMSF career commenced in 2010, where she developed a deep understanding of superannuation legislation, compliance requirements, and strategic fund administration. Over the years, she has worked across both boutique and corporate environments, including leading the Retail SMSF Department following a business merger. This leadership experience provided her with extensive exposure to complex SMSF matters and reinforced her commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Since joining Cyber SMSF in 2021, Ashleigh has continued to support trustees, accountants, and financial advisers with expert guidance and practical solutions. As a Senior SMSF Accountant, she specialises in SMSF compliance, administration, reporting, and regulatory developments, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex superannuation landscape with confidence.

Known for her approachable and client-focused style, Ashleigh is passionate about simplifying SMSF administration and removing the stress often associated with legislative and compliance obligations. She is committed to keeping clients informed through clear communication, industry updates, and tailored advice, ensuring they remain confident and in control of their financial future.

Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time outdoors and is often found on the water with her partner, kayaking or fishing whenever the opportunity arises.

Tarun’s passion for making numbers work makes him a valuable addition to the team.

With years of experience in accounting and Superannuation and holding the SMSF Association’s SMSF Specialist Adviser (SSA) designation, Tarun is here to help clients through the complex world of Self-Managed Super Funds.

He graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and later earned a Master’s in Commerce from Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

When he’s not diving into all matters SMSF, you’ll find Tarun out exploring new travel destinations, listening to podcasts on various topics, or going for a run along the beach or in the park.

He loves sharing his knowledge and helping people understand their SMSF journey; it’s all about making things easier and more manageable to him.

Emma is the Operations Manager at CYBER SMSF and has more than 12 years of experience working within accounting firms, including over 9 years specialising in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).

As Operations Manager, Emma oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, working closely with the team to ensure efficient workflows, outstanding client experiences, and high-quality outcomes. She is passionate about continually improving processes, supporting both clients and colleagues, and helping the business deliver a seamless service.

Emma enjoys building strong relationships with clients and takes pride in providing professional, friendly guidance that helps make managing an SMSF as straightforward as possible.

Outside of work, Emma is a proud mum of two young children. She loves spending quality time with her family, whether it’s enjoying days at the beach, exploring local attractions, or making lasting memories together on the Gold Coast.

With a strong aptitude for technology, I bring fresh energy and a modern approach to office admin. I’m highly skilled in using digital tools and platforms such as Microsoft, Box, and Xero Practice Manager.

I have a natural ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, helping to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across the organisation. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset, I specialize in managing digital filing systems, scheduling tools, and data entry with speed and accuracy.

My strengths lie in automating routine tasks, organizing information in accessible formats, and maintaining clear communication through email and online platforms. Motivated, tech-savvy, and organized, I’m committed to supporting daily operations and helping Cyber SMSF run smoother through smart use of technology.

When not in the office I love spending time with my friends shopping or at the gym.
